The flavours of Tuscany’s traditional recipes and of the most refined regional Italian cuisine are innovatively revisited by our young chef; during summer they are served in the magnificent terraces of our restaurants, which offer a unique view over the Val d’Orcia; during the winter, they are served in the elegant dining rooms.
For lovers of fine wine, the Castello di Velona – Tuscan Resort & Spa provides a significant wine menu featuring Brunello di Montalcino, produced under a label bearing the same name as the resort, which, with its 32 hectares of terrain, also produce a prestigious olive oil.

 

"Il Chiostro" ["The Courtyard"]

 

The castle’s ancient inner courtyard, now covered by a glass dome, is the pulsating heart of the facility.
Here, guests can relax while sipping prized liquors under a star-filled sky.

The inn “Il Vignone” [“The large vineyard”]

 

The inn “Il Vignone” [“The large Vineyard”] provides a comfortable country atmosphere in which to appreciate the best recipes of the traditional Tuscan cuisine, skilfully reinterpreted by our young chef.
The restaurant has an indoor dining room with seating for 80 guests and a panoramic terrace.

The gourmet restaurant “L’Abbazia” [“The Abbey”], located in the castle’s new wing, can seat 120 guests and has a panoramic terrace overlooking the Val d’Orcia. At sunset a unique view can be enjoyed from here.
