Welcome to the Castello Pozzi - Milan

Castello Pozzi occupies a symbolic place in the history of Italian fashion. This is where the rules, strategies and activities that would later transform Milan into the undisputed capital of fashion were developed.

Castello Pozzi is located in Milan on Via Brin 1, right next to the former trade fair grounds and currently the most modern and sought-after residential area, the future site of the city’s green lungs.

After 7 years of intense work, the project designed by the architect Livio Cossutti, was completed in 1929, thus creating Castello Pozzi, the first example of fusion between the late Liberty and early Deco styles.

The drawings of the decorations and the details of each distinct building element were conceived and designed by Claudio Tridenti Pozzi, the first person in the history of the Italian fashion sector to be awarded the title Cavaliere del Lavoro (Knighthood of Work).

Towards the end of the 1980s, a group of individuals became aware of this forgotten historical and cultural asset and acquired, one-by-one, the apartments that in the meantime had been built within the Castello, sponsoring large scale renovation work of the building and bringing it back to its former splendour.

Work was completed 22 years later and the Pozzi Foundation was established with the objective of promoting events linked to the arts, culture and to the “Made in Italy” concept in this magnificent building. Castello Pozzi has become a centre of inspiration and promotion of Italian style, to be celebrated in this location which is rich in charm and history.
